The Artful Codgers Exhibition finally arrived in Summerlee Museum on a really wet Friday evening with around 200 guests braving the conditions to attend. The guests assembled in the cafe area downstairs where they were served refreshments and home baking. This was followed by short speeches. From Councillor Alec McVey, Tony Hamilton CEO of the Celtic Foundation, Tony Higgins President of the PFA, and a lengthier speech from Jim Scullion. Attendees have described Jim's speech as very honest, emotional, and absolutely hilarious. At the end of the speech The Codgers along with Jim's grandchildren cut an amazing Artful Codgers cake, created by Pamela Scullion to open the exhibition.
