Jim Scullion has been in constant demand for exhibition. Over the years he has been
involved in many exhibitions and his unique and imaginative attitude to exhibiting
has contributed greatly to his success. In the past he has been involved in retrospective
exhibitions of his work. In one of these exhibitions he invited local artists, amateur
and professional alike, to contribute to the exhibits, and he entitled the exhibition
"Jim Scullion and Friends. “ This proved very successful and gave exposure to many
artists who would otherwise have had difficulty in exhibiting. In another exhibition
he displayed his paintings unframed alongside his initial sketches etc. and entitled
the Exhibition, "Jim Scullion, Unplugged". This warts and all approach proved very
appealing to the visitors. In recent years Jim has exhibited in New York, Las Vegas
and Toronto.
During the 1990s Jim's two major exhibitions "The Jim Scullion Sportart Exhibition",
and "Jim Scullion's Football Mall of Fame" exhibition, toured extensively throughout
Britain and abroad, and attracted over two million visitors. Both exhibitions broke
numerous attendance records at many of the galleries and exhibition spaces they visited,
helping Jim to receive many accolades including twice being nominated European Sport
Artist of the Year. More information on these exhibitions can be found on this site
and some of the paintings from these exhibitions are included in the Galleries section
of the site.
Visitors to the Celtic Museum and Stadium Tour can see much of Jim's Celtic related
artwork.
